Meet a closer look at the one of the most talked about hypercars in the world, the Valkyrie. Announced in 2016 by Red Bull and Aston Martin, the near production-ready variant seems to be even more aerodynamically efficient with some insane design modifications and stunning interior details. Moreover, the Valkyrie is expected to be the most mind-blowing production car in the future, with its British-designed unbelievable aerodynamics and luxurious, typically Aston, detailing. Known as the AM-RB001, the $3M limited production hypercar will be road legal.
Equipped with a sledge-hummer Cosworth-built 6.5-litre V12, naturally aspirated, along with some kind of electric powertrain, Valkyrie promises to be a hybrid delivering about 1000hp with a 1:1 power to weight ratio. The futuristically-looking hypercar is going to weigh around 900kg so it means insane performance. A seven-speed paddle-shift transmission by Ricardo and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber will provide the extreme level of downforce there. Talking about the bodywork, the boosted profile of the car and crucially modified styling of the headlights along with the wheels swapped should also be mentioned. There’s also no rear window at all, the seats are incorporated to the carbon tub. The hypercar is set to production in 2018 hitting the roads next, 2019, year.
